From Script to Screen: Ad for Bloom featuring Rahul Dravid

We undertook a film and still shoot for Bloom featuring ‘The Man, The Wall,’ Rahul Dravid. The brand reached out to us with the script and entrusted us to bring it to life cinematically on the big screen. The film captures Rahul Dravid's enduring association with Bloom, portraying him as a Bloomer who finds comfort and respite in the brand. Through his compelling narrative, we integrated the essence of Bloom, creating a cinematic journey that resonates with the viewer.

We approached this project with a distinctive twist in execution. We used AI to create a scratch along with the storyboard giving the team an idea of how the film would turn out. Dive into our journey to creating the films.

Behind the Lens: Tanishq's Rath Yatra Campaign

Today, we're taking you behind the scenes of an incredible adventure we embarked on with Tanishq – the making of Tanishq's Ad Campiagn for their captivating Dibyani Collection.

In June we kicked off a project that was all about turning inspiration into reality. Our goal? To showcase Tanishq's Dibyani Collection through captivating visuals that truly spoke to its essence. With a healthy dose of determination and a sprinkle of that special creative spark, we set out on this exciting journey.

We were to produce 5 TV commercials, 5 product stills and 5 lifestyle images for print release all to be shot in a day. This was no easy feat, coupled with the fact that the jewelry collection was inspired by the stunning temple architecture of Orissa and hence had to be shot in Orissa. With our reputation for making the impossible, possible, we secured permission to shoot at the Iconic Sun Temple in Konark, Orissa in just 10 days – talk about teamwork and dedication!

We brought together our powerhouse team of 150 talents from Mumbai, Kochi, Bangalore, and Bengal along with our team from Bhubaneswar. Under the scorching sun and well within our schedule, we came together to create magic.

Fast forward to the big reveal – the Rath Yatra campaign launch. The response was overwhelming, with hearts and appreciation pouring in from every nook and cranny of Orissa and Bengal. We were humbled by the love and couldn't be prouder of the passion and hard work that went into this labor of love.

As we look back on this journey, we couldn’t be any happier to have produced this for Tanishq. Here is a quick look at all that went on behind the scenes.

Sarah Thomas wins Best Director for The Unsung at The South Asian Film Festival of Australia

The Unsung has been awarded Best Director at the South Asian Film Festival of Australia (SAFFA), 2023. The film, directed by Sarah Thomas and produced by STOM Productions, premiered in Australia at the HOYTS Black Town Cinema in Sydney.

This was The Unsung’s 27th film festival across 12 countries. SAFFA stated that the film was shortlisted from over 2093 films from around the world. The festival judges praised the film's quality and skillful storytelling, stating that they were thoroughly impressed by its director's talent and vision. The premiere was received positively by audiences.

Director Sarah Thomas spoke of her intentions behind "The Unsung," a film that sheds light on the fading tribe of Halakki Vokkaliga, who are living on the fringes of modern society. "The film was made with the intention of telling the world the stories of the Halakki Vokkaliga, a reflection of several 100 others losing bits of their identity and culture every day," she said.

Underscoring the significance of preserving the cultural identity and customs of native communities, Sarah told the festival, “There is a dire need to protect indigenous cultures and communities that are grappling against the tides of modernisation and westernisation. The aim of The Unsung was to throw light on the current situation of the tribes in India and why the system should do more to protect them.”

In her statement, Sarah expressed her appreciation for the acknowledgment and commendation that "The Unsung" has been receiving, "I feel immense gratitude and happiness to know that the film is reaching new audiences and the stories of the tribe are being heard by so many across the world." She also thanked the South Asian Film Festival of Australia and the jury for the award and wished her fellow filmmakers a whole lot of love and success. "May we always find stories that matter and may we always tell them with integrity," she concluded.

Amante - Film & Photoshoot

Amante released its Athleisure collection and we produced a film and still campaign for the brand. We had two teams simultaneously working on the film and photoshoot respectively, driving our producer, Mahesh Karunakaren crazy by the end. Living up to his reputation, he handled them with utmost patience, giving the Director and the Client exactly what they wanted for the project. Jumping 8 different locations for the film, 5 completely different locations for the still shoot and set building included, the team had a blast shooting this film. Here’s a look into what went on.

5 Spots for Aisle

We produced 5 films for the brand Aisle, a dating app. The ads revolved around the issues female users face such as cyber flashing, ghosting, stalking etc. on common dating platforms. The aims was to present the situations in a funny manner aimed at making the viewer chuckle while simultaneously making them aware of the brand.

We shot 5 films in one day with teams coming in from different cities across the country, working for 24 hours straight and we are extremely happy with how these films turned out and the kind of response it has been garnering. Here’s a quick look at what went on behind the scenes.

And now, the films.

30 sec COMMERCIALS for Simplilearn

We know these posts are most loved for the sneak peeks we share and we won’t keep you waiting. Here’s the BTS of Simplilearn. The films we shot were to be set in North India, depicting bustling streets that one would typically find in the north but shot in Bangalore. We love a good challenge and had a blast on this one, multiple location in two days of shoot. Let us know where you think these films were shot.

TVC for Lays with Ishaan Khattar & Ronit Roy

In our previous blog post we speak of our month-long madness as we worked on some killer commercials for PhonePe. As the project was coming to an end leaving the crew dizzy with withdrawals, we went on to undertake the service production for two films for Lays for Nirvana Films. While a part of our team was working on PhonePe, team B was busy overlooking the prep for Lays. We had the same teams working on both the projects which made the shoot even more enjoyable.

We love giving our audience a closer look at what we do and how we do it. Here are some pictures from our sets, take a look at what went on.

PhonePe - BTS

We service produced 8 TVCs for the brand PhonePe for Nirvana Films.

From shooting at a mall to blocking an entire main road for the night to shoot a wedding film, the films were an absolute joy to work on. Our team worked over a month on multiple locations and logistics planning, while simultaneously shooting for other brands. Here’s a look at what went on, on the sets of these films.
